It’s has happened to all of us.
We’ve all had that feeling, the thought, or we’ve even said the words…
“I’m not smart enough…”
“I’m not feeling anything…”
“By the way I’m a bit sore, so I don’t think I can…”
These are just a few of many, many examples of experiences we create by how we manifest them in the present moment.
Any experience you desire or manifest will be the result of how you approach it and the intentions you have for it.
When the feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, or any outcome that doesn’t bring forth what you fully want to experience you are channeling that in and that’s what will be put in front of you.
Intentions set the tone. In fact, that’s what energy healing is all about, energy.
Your intention is what activates and directs energies. Your intentions help shape what you are meant to experience before they even happen.
To truly understand the power of intention, we first need to understand what negative intentions are.
Negative intentions are necessarily the wishing of an undesired event. They can just be incomplete, meaning that the intention isn’t in full alignment with your higher self, your most authentic and truthful way of being.
The negative intentions you personally create are intentions that do not support what is meant to be. Negative intentions can be very subtle. But much like karma, these intentions compound and have an impact on the direction of your well-being and your life. Inflicting psychological, spiritual, emotional, and physical bodies.
Let’s say for example you are at work and you have a big presentation coming up. The feelings and nerves start to come up and you start envisioning the negative feedback. You’ll bring that forward and once it happens you fall back on the confirmation bias to validate the theory that you are not good enough or you are not smart enough.
Another example on the opposite spectrum maybe the intentions with which you take medicine or go into ceremony. If you are unclear or ansty, you are channeling that in, and the experience you’ll have will be exactly that.
One of the best pieces of advice I’ve been given was “go into it as if it was already yours”.
That’s stuck around with me.
Now that I’ve been working on intentions, that quote has started to make sense. Setting the intention of going in, no doubts, no jitters, and embodying the alignment is extremely powerful.
There’s a fine line when it comes to setting intentions. If you are not clear or specific enough, it will err to a negative intention. The outcome isn’t necessarily bad, but it might be very different from what you expect.
When setting intentions, you need to be crystal clear on what it is you want, how it’s going to make you feel, and what it means to you.
Intention setting requires you to be present and grounded. When you start feeling that your self-talk or body is acting in a way that will skew the direction of things, you need to get back into your senses.
